Over the course of 3 years, I’ve created a TON of panoramic stitches with Windows Live Photo Gallery (see this blog post on details on how to do your own panoramic stitches!). And I really want to have one of my panoramic stitches printed and custom-framed for me to hang on the wall in my apartment. I don’t have much in the way of decorations in my apartment unfortunately but thought maybe in 2012 I’d do some decorating – with my own photos!
Problem is – I don’t know which panoramic shot to choose.
So I’m asking for your help. Out of all my panoramic stitches – which one do YOU think I should have printed and framed to hang in my apartment?
Click on the above link to my photo album on SkyDrive. Each panoramic stitch is numbered (1 through 32). Just leave a comment below on which panoramic stitch you think I should have printed and framed and include the number of a specific panoramic stitch you recommend.
#8, #16, #18, & #32 are my favorites. I'm pretty partial to the night shot at Times Square after staying in the Marquis before Christmas, but I think Mt. St. Helens might be the best if you live near it.
My vote is for number 12 - Mount St. Helen. It is pleasant and restful and would be appropriate all year. I would do a bit of post-processing in Photo Gallery. Bringing in the tabs in the histogram on either end and upping the contrast and saturation just a little for a more effective print. Enjoy!
I would choose 15. 1 was a fairly close runner-up, but it doesn't have 15's clarity and sharpness, and although it's atmospheric, the dreich weather might not be what you want every day.
Number 10 has my vote. It has everything: a city, a bridge, natural beauty. It has accessibility all in one. I like any picture with water, so the fourth or fifth one was great too. I would not go with the times square photo.

I would limit the choices to 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 or 26 and pick from that group.
I vote for #1
19, of course, but 32 works well for having company over. ;)
I vote for 5, 7, or 26!
I like 9 the best it is a pretty image
Use number 3!
From all these different opinions on which picture to choose, I can tell you will need to add walls to your apartment. It is great to have so many great choices!
Number 23 is the most fantastic Panoramic Stitch ever. Great job and my pick
My personal favorite is #4 of 32. This picture has incredible depth and more color than most of the other choices. ( I'm about color, particularly blue and green). As a personal statement, #19 is interesting and says more about you, the photographer as artist, then any of the landscape photos. I'm more curious about the what, where, when & whys of this photo then any of the others. Good luck decorating, Mary S
