Today, on BuildMyPinnedSite.com, we announce an easier way to enhance your site with pinning. Pinned Sites are a set of features in Internet Explorer 9 that help make the websites that you build more interactive. Notifications pull your customers in from outside the browser. Users click once and your website launches like an app - your latest and best content gets noticed. The result is an average of 50% more engagement from users that pin - this is why almost 40,000 top ranked sites have already done so.
For developers, designers, or a blogger with a day job, the Pinning Wizard takes about 5 minutes. Add your logo and site links. The Pinning Wizard generates one-line of code that you can copy/paste into your HTML and immediately make available to your customers.
Go to BuildMyPinnedSite.com and click on the pinning wizard.
Start with your site name and URL. Need a site favicon? Easily convert your logo using xiconeditor.com.
Add links to promote the most common places you want your users to go – these will become your Jump List topics:
Have an RSS feed? Get a dynamic jump list with your latest 10 blogs - plus out-of-browser notifications - instantly.
Now just copy the one-line of JavaScript into your HTML <body> tag. And there, you’re done!
BuildMyPinnedSite.com is about choice: use a wizard, write your own HTML or jQuery code. Get creative with our idea starters. Measure the results for yourself. Start building a more interactive website today!

The most interesting features of Internet Explorer 9 is, without doubt, its support for SVG.
Hi Simen, I just tested your site on a few PCs and I haven't had a problem seeing it pin instantly. Looks great! I love the Facebook and Twitter sharing links and bright orange favicon. It's possible it may be a proxy issue locally. Tweet @justgar or @ie if still unable to get it to work and I'll find someone locally to work with you! - Justin
Hi Fleet Command, pinning is a feature well-served for many sites and little cost to develop (i.e. try the RSS jumplist). IE9's support for SVG and canvas with hardware acceleration takes more time to develop but it definitely open's up a bigger set of scenarios (like gaming) for developers of modern sites. Try pairing web standards and browser features together like worldsbiggestpacman.com. - Justin
I never use Pinned Sites for the simple reason that addons do not work for Pinned Sites.
The second, Rosetta World, connects a user trying to learn one language with a person trying to learn his. For example, www.audiorosettastone.com an English speaker trying to learn French would be connected to a French speaker taking an English course. The goal of TOTALe is to introduce the student to the social aspects of using the target language.
I’ve been using IE9 since the beta was released and while there is a lot I like I have really come to
