&lt;p&gt;It's important to note that there is no premium charged for the purchase of a (PRODUCT) RED PC. &amp;nbsp;Identically-equipped PCs would cost the same.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I guess I need to simplify my response.. Good work Dell and Microsoft, I hope that this initiative towards a worthy cause is successful and that it can help people affected with Aids and inspire other companies to act to. &amp;nbsp;Hopefully with more Basic Reasearch combined with these efforts Aids will soon become an easily controlled or cured disease!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Oh and as for Cancer heres a scary stat from the NIH&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1:2 US men will get it in their lifetime and 1:3 women US women will get it. &amp;nbsp;Pretty scary.&lt;/p&gt;

Why is it that I never see something about a company like that helping people here in the US?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I will say this though, it was a very bright move on their part to partner with the two largest companies dealing with computers around. Only thing they could do that would raise more money is get with AMD that way when people buy a Dell, with Vista, using an AMD processor, they could get a little more for AIDs funding for finding a cure.&lt;/p&gt;
