&lt;p&gt;Since I'm the only user of my computer (apart from sharing some files over the network of course) there's really little point in me doing much more with Group Policy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Microsoft aquired DesktopStandard some time ago.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Let's have a hope that the Vista SP1 and the Server 2008 will bring some fresh ideas and not for the software assurance customers, only.&lt;/p&gt;
