&lt;p&gt;XP is stable and manageable in a buisness environment. Vista is plain awful.&lt;/p&gt;

Wait till his networking/IT guys find that every feature is now at least 1 click further away from where it used to be in XP. Wait till they figure out the OS is now eating up tons of disk space with features that you've had from 3rd party software that did the job much better.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Poor guy :(&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dear MS, please fix Vista. Don't make it like the Mac OS. That isn't your real rival. Linux is. I bought myself a TabletPC that came with Vista. Now I'm regretting it because I cannot install Linux on it. I should have bought a Dell Notebook. What a waste of money :'(&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hopefully you guys will keep updating and improving the Windows Vista Hardware Assessment tools so by the time my company gets around to thinking about upgrading it will be an even easier task than for Mr Evans !&lt;/p&gt;
