If the server is codenamed &amp;quot;Longhorn&amp;quot; and Vista was code named the same thing? &lt;p&gt;So why did it go from longhorn to Vista to longhorn to server 08? Vista did not have Avalon it had Areo instead there were a lot of changes with the OS it self. To me Vista was never really long horn. Long Horn has always been server 2008.&lt;/p&gt;
