I like Vista, but as with XP the client version of the OS is useless in the long run. I need the extra admin tools, I like that most services are disabled by default and there's just much less noise! Even the installation is usually simpler.

As for the caching: Does this involve "Sync center"? I spent quite some time figuring out that I had to open "Offline Files" in Control Panel to get rid of the folder that Vista suddenly decided to sync! :( Not very intuitive.

Working great, well besides taking an hour to figure out how to get online because wireless is broke in this build, out of box anyways for more than a few adapters. :(

Heck even got a blue screen within the first five mins of using it due to a bad driver install. :( Yes my wireless driver. The Linksys WMP54GSv1.1_20050428 driver in case your wondering. After the blue screen longhorn beta 3 would no longer boot up. :( Had to use "restore latest known working config". But at least I finally figured it out and back online. Heck even my sound works with latest creative drivers.

My geforce 8800 with the latest nvidia drivers is working fine as well. :) Lucking good, besides the wireless issue. Hope thats fixed in the next build. Will but it on over at connect in a bit. :)
