Interesting, what is their favored DRM scheme?

Since this little bit of marketing spin seems to be seeded throughout the videosphere am I to assume its not considered "premium content"

Its also strange that my previous account appears invalid, I'm sure its just an oversight as opposed to retribution for predicting the backlash of Peter Gutmann's cost benefit analysis.

Funny thing about repression of dissent, the more you choose to forcefully address it, the more of it there is.

Can't wait for the album, is it really called Linux Sux? :p

hi, i am very excited about windows vista im talking about it all the time and stuff. I REALLY want to download some kind of beta or trial or RC. I was wondering if anybody can leave a link or something for me to download it from. Like an active link or something. And i was wondering that the testdrive the www.windowsvistatestdrive.com I go to it and everything is soooooo slow for me i was wondering if the real windows vista is that slow... and does ot make your games slow or faster and DirectX 10, do u have to have a DirectX 10 video card? thank you, Navid

Hello All

Am having a serious problem in using Outlook

2003 API's with Windows Vista. Outlook API

"GetActiveObject" is failing eventhough

Outlook is already running. More over When

we launch outlook programatically using

"ShellExecute" an instance is running in

TaskManager after closing my application &

Outlook.

This happens in following scenario...

Launching my application.

Launch Outlook using my application.

Use Outlook API to insert contact into

Outlook.

close my application.

close Outlook.

Now you can find Outlook instance running in

the background.

I have checked the same scenario with XP, it

works fine.

When I launch Outlook for the next time, it

pops up the following error...

"An extension failed to initialize. Can't

open file: extend.dat. The file may not

exist, you may not have permission to open

it, or it may be open in another program.

Right-click the folder that contains the

file, and then click Properties to check

your permissions for the folder."

Followed by a message says "unable to launch

.pst......."

Can anyone please help me out. Its very

urgent.

Well, good! I, for one, am glad to be using Vista! Some R&R, of whatever kind, is well deserved.

After that, its time to get to the Ultimate Extras... :) How about some Aero enhancements that are so stunning that they require a discreet GPU rather than the underpowered integrated graphics that Aero had to be designed to support...
