These comments may seem heretical coming from a Linux developer like myself, but it has to be said that Windows Vista is by the far the best looking and user-friendly OS that I have had to test; it raises the standard in terms of GUI development to extreme heights.

I take my hat off to your GUI development team! (No, it's not a red-hat).

Congratulations guys, excellent work! Hope your roll-out goes smoothly - I'm looking forward to powering my UMPC with Vista!

Since apple and microsoft pretty much work together..

An if you look at the latest screenshots of the next MAC OSX, they are trying to get something that looks like the areo glass.

I really love all the features of Windows Vista. I can't wait! But, I've notice it's sort of a copy of Mac OS X. Gadgets(Widgets), Flip 3d(Expose)! Did apple get mad?

Lots of fun was had by my family playing Fuzion Frenzy & Top Spin on my Xbox over the break, great old games.

I had to speed up my in laws Windows XP computer a bit over the break, so I used Bootvis, not sure why you can't download this great tool anymore from the MS website!, it improved the boot time quite a bit. My in laws really need to remove all the non essential programs from running at startup but thats kinda a losing battle on my part, as they're always going to use the PC the way they want to use it.

I did give them an old wireless B router I had lying around so that was nice, having wireless is such a blessing. Hopefully the Xbox360 will be redesigned sometime in march 2007 with wireless built in, thats just a dream of mine but it would be a nice feature to have built in.
