Remaining Windows Vista SP2 Languages Released to Windows Update

Back on May 26th, we announced Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 hit the RTW milestone. The first wave of languages (English, German, French, Spanish, and Japanese) was made available on Windows Update at that time. Today, we are releasing the remaining languages for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2 to Windows Update.

For more information, including languages, on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2 click here.

If you have Windows Update configured to download updates automatically, Windows Update will notify you when Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 is ready to be installed.

Hi I am using Windows Vista; some friends tell me that  7 is only little faster than Windows Vista, but I really don't know the exactly the differences of each one. I will like to understand the differences and the advantages of each one to decided change or continue with vista.

    Thank's

    Marcehm

i started my computing life with a preinstalled genuine vista that is now updated to sp2.xp sp2 is almost alien to me.i find criticism of vista a bit excessive.its pretty good experience all through, though a bit slower than xp. since i wont upgrade to windows7 in my present pc as i feel the hardware is meant for vista only.hence my expectation is microsoft comes out with a sp3 for vista that nearly makes it a windows7 experience.after all you gotta reward those who sticked to vista through all turbulent times!
