Remaining Windows Vista SP2 Languages Released to Windows Update

Back on May 26th, we announced Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 hit the RTW milestone. The first wave of languages (English, German, French, Spanish, and Japanese) was made available on Windows Update at that time. Today, we are releasing the remaining languages for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2 to Windows Update.

For more information, including languages, on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2 click here.

If you have Windows Update configured to download updates automatically, Windows Update will notify you when Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 is ready to be installed.

I really really REALLY wish Microsoft would still try to fix Vistas slowness. I switched to Vista 64 when I bought a new pc. It was a VERY expensive pc with bloody everything which should enable it to run Vista 64 like speed of lightning and it's been a catastrophe. Everyday I spend 20 minutes waiting for my pc to start. Nothing works at even moderate speed. Searches - if they work at all - are at the very best very slow. I constantly get "white windows" at even simple tasks like opening Character Map. Vista is crap and it has cost me a huge amount of money in wasted time. I dearly wish Windows 7 will be better even bloody EVERYTHING is better than Vista. And yes - I did install all upgrades and I did spend hours and hours trying to optimize speed at upstart to no avail what so ever.

I always have to hide all of these optional updates one at a time.

Is lamentavel see DirectX 11 did part of SP2. Microsoft it to play in the trash those who believed that taking Vista Ultimate, would have a great option, which now propria company claims to be a waste and that Windows 7 is the fantastic, a new decoy? As trust?

Is there any expectation to update the DriectX 11 for Vista? Or purposely this does not occur to try pulling Windows 7? If that happens i think i have never seen an incentive so great piracy, as well as a permanent trust break, and i am afraid that people who are involved in Windows 7 inevitably in the future and next summer so misled or if more than we were in we buy Vista because at that time think that Microsoft was a serious company

Vista is a curse. Anything will be better then this operating system. I got a wonderful new laptop in January and Vista has made it total crap. My 10 year old Compaq runs FASTER. My next laptop will be a Mac. I wish I had researched Vista before i bought a laptop with it installed. Its the most frustrating , time consuming, stress-inducing system EVER.  What a complete let down. Those Mojave commercials were a total joke.

I can no longer sync my phone (Treo) via Bluetooth with my computer after installing SP2 (Vista).  In Device Manager neither the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator nor the Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) #2 are working -- both say device cannot start.  This used to not be a problem and I have seen on other forums that other people are having this problem.  Please help Vista team!

Windows Vista SP 2 is much better than XP....

Windows 7 is only little faster than Windows Vista SP 2....

I would encourage the Vista team to make the coming SP 3 more faster than Windows 7...

I still believe that Vista is the best...

You could improve by integrating Windows Live on SP3...I should be able to replace windows mail with Windows Live mail and so on...I don't want to have both of them....

You could improve by spicing up the security center....

You could also improve the internet capability....

I love vista and I want SP 3 to destroy Windows 7...
