   Why did i just see an InstallShield box popup asking for the language? And then go and extract the MSI to run. Who employs these people that wrap a perfectly good MSI in an InstallShield installer and how does Microsoft Certify it for WIndows Vista?

   Just Google InstallShield sux/sucks/POS/hate/etc and you will understand what people who do packaging for a living have to go through to costomise their installers for enterprise deployment.

   I hope it doesn't use the InstallShield Updater to update itself because that would really take the cake.

   I am usually a very calm person but seeing that InstallShield logo made me well... look above. I can't tell you how many hours I have wasted trying to get InstallShield programs to install silently and then there is that bloody updater and don't even ask about a silent uninstall.

   Bought a lovely Dell XPS with Vista installed early February. Went to Walmart and bought a Lexmark at $25 that unknown to me would not work even though I spent some time with Tech help. I now use that printer with my old 98 machine. Am considering buying another Lexmark marked Certified for Vista.Will this work well with the aero etc.?

   For a superior experience, choose products that are Certified for Windows Vista.

   IE quit working! I spent two days trying to fix it - uninstalling M'soft updates,  changing configs, etc, etc.  I live chatted with HP for an hour.  No help.

   THEN: I remembered that I had installed ENCARTA 2004. THEREIN lay the problem!  I find it unbelievable that M'soft would permit installation of ITS product that would BREAK my machine!  A pop-up, at least, is warranted - mandatory, like I get for many non-M'soft programs!

   PLEASE send me a fix for encarta 2004 or a working version. AFTER ALL, It is YOUR product, and there is NO excuse for it not running under VISTA via an update or comped newer version.

   Thishas been an awful experience.  Simply unbelievable.
