Windows DreamScene Content Pack Released

Recognizing Windows Vista Ultimate users' interest in Windows DreamScene, the Ultimate Team has announced the release to Windows Update of the Windows DreamScene Content Pack.  These 4 videos are available with the new Windows DreamScene Content Pack:

  • A field of thistle with a bee gathering pollen
  • Rushing water in a forest stream
  • A streetlamp reflected in a puddle, with softly falling rain
  • Orange wisps flowing in a computer-generated scene

DS Pack

All you need to do is click "Check for Updates" in Windows Update to download the Content Pack.  The Content Pack will continue to be available and work with the final version of Windows DreamScene when it is released.

Currently, Windows DreamScene is available through Windows Update as a Technical Preview.

Sorry, but it looks as though quite a few links were removed.

You can also go directly to support via phone, here - http://support.microsoft.com/gp/contactbug

Brandon's suggestion of using the Dreamscene blog is probably the best.

Hey nandell:  this content will appear in Windows Update if you have Ultimate installed and registered, so please just be patient :)

Thanks for the reply Nick.  I have a brand new HP Pavilion with Vista Ultimate and it is registered.  I've installed the latest drivers from Nvidia so I was wondering if that prevented downloads from Windows Update.  The dreamscene is awesome and I really want the new content.  Still not available though.

    Thanks!

    Hi nandell

I have a new HP Pavilion too and just downloaded the Nvidia updates etc. When I went back to get the new DreamScene content, it didn't show there was any there.

But if you click the Check for updates link in the top-left of the screen, it will find the new content pack.

    It's fantastic!
