Windows Ultimate Extra 'DreamScene' is available

Windows Vista Ultimate users may have noticed a nice little surprise today when checking for new Windows updates:  the Ultimate Extras Team has released a Technical Preview for Windows DreamScene.  You can get all the latest updates and information from the Ultimate Extras Team over at their Windows Ultimate site.

This Technical Preview currently includes a single DreamScene -- an animated version of Windows Vista's default wallpaper.  You can of course expect more DreamScenes to become available in future releases of Ultimate Extras.

Hey Laurent:  you can either wait for the French version of Extras to be released, or download the English language pack and install the Extras that have been released for English as of now.

I notice that there's a download limit for .dream files on: http://dream.wincustomize.com/index.aspx

What is the official comment of Microsoft about this?

    Thank you in advance.

OK, first, I like dreamscene even if is just a rehash of something I've had from ATI for years.

Second, I'm a little disappointed that only 1 video cam with it.  I would have liked to get the raindrops on the pavement at night video.  Any chance we can get that posted somewhere??

Third, don't get taken in by the dream.wincustomize.com scam.  All it is is a custom wrapper around the wmv or mpeg, presumably to protect the content.   Since it just unpacks the content and leaves it on your hd, it doesn't provide any extra benefits to the consumer or content provided.  Makes you wonder what the angle is here beside trying to lock you into the website ad viewing and personal information gathering (you gotta sign up and log in if you want to download more than 2 or 3 files)

Hey Gops:  You'll need to upgrade to the market-release version before you can install Extras on Ultimate.

Hey JimBeamBeagle:  DS will support the same number of monitors that are supported by Windows Vista.
