Those photos are a bit strange. Firstly, it says on the CD "This disc contains 32-bit software only." but I think I can see on the packaging that it says "32 and 64-bit" (on the top-left, after the "DVD-Rom" logo). As far as I can remember, both versions are on one disc...?

The other strange thing is that the disc says "includes Windows Anytime Upgrade". I thought this wasn't available in Windows Vista Ultimate (simply because there is nothing to upgrade to).

I like the "Windows Anytime Upgrade" logo. Swoosh!

Wow. Cool little features. Can't wait for DreamScene to come out as well!!

    Also @r3m0t:

The Ultimate retail version I purchased today comes with two DVDs, one is a 32-Bit version & the other is 64-Bit.

Awww...didn't get the Bill Gates version? :(  I was hoping to buy a copy, but my budget can only go gor a notebook or the Bill Gates copy and having to upgrade my desktop's hardware, but I need mobility and the latest right now...so no Bill Gates Limited Edition copy for me either... :(

    Nick-

Some of us aer pleased that all the time spent on the poker "extra" took you folks away from time you could have otherwise WASTED on getting the miilions of us OTHER people who own PocketPC's reconnected through the POS you call "Windows Mobile Device Center".  Now I know where your management team spends it's time.

You all need FIRED for your utter disreguard in releasing games to your weenie friends instead of focusing part of your company's six-billion-dollar R&D on the productivyy apps we ALREADY HAD WORKING.

Why not go to India and teach English- it would be time better spent.

    Hi Nick,

I'm trying to upgrade my son's HP m7490n Pavillion, Pentium D 940 2 GB RAM running Media Center to Vista Home Premium.

My problem is that the media center sys32 file turns out to be corrupt and we can't get a hold of an installation disk.  Apparently, HP didn't include one and opted for an f10 system restore, which now won't work.

I hoped I'd be able to just pop in the Vista disk and have it recognize that there was some fragment of windows media center left it could recognize and just install.  It's not cooperating.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

The extras aren't worth a dime until my OEM (Acer) releases drivers and other software that will enable my Tablet to run for more than 30 seconds after logging in.

Until that time it's like trapped in the burning wreck of a car crash, and the emergency services turn up with ice cream.

I bought Ultimate as it was the only way I felt I could get all the features I needed.  How do we leverage Bitlocker if we dont have a TPM 1.2 chip on our motherboard?  are the daughter cards or is there some sort of other method?
