Just a response to Maxx Fordham's comments on Start menu "categories".
As a network administrator, I can assure you that e-mail does *not* require the Internet to function.
For example, a home network can be configured to allow locally connected PCs to send and receive email without any sort of Internet access.
Of course the Internet has accelerated acceptance of email around the world, however at a fundamental level they can (and do) exist on their own. For this reason, it is not really appropriate to group e-mail under the Internet heading/category.
Hope this clear things up.
