    I have installed it ok, but I dont get it - how do I actually make it synchronize with Windows Calendar, Windows Contacts? It shows that synchronization goes on ok, but no contacts and appointments actually transferred from mobile device to PC.

    Also tried to create new contact in Windows Contacts, sync ok, but it does not appear on mobile device.

    Am I missing something? All synchronizations are enabled in control panel.

    Will you support SyncML in the future?  : )

    About time, and it even works!

    Thank you, thank you thank you thank you!

    Just a lil' bug report - when you click on 'view error log' in case of a sync error, nothing happens and instead it just goes back to normal view.

    Downloaded it but WMDC doesn't open.  I am using RC1 and haven't been able to sync over a month.  Can you help?  eakins@xtra.co.nz

    eakins, if you've got any autoplay settings for your mobile device, try clearing those out.  Also, try deleting your device and then plugging it back in, then double-click the Windows Mobile Device Center to actually kick off the installation.  I'm running rc1 and was able to sync up just fine, but the installation of WMDC didn't seem to complete until after I had followed those steps.

    Still some big bugs in here, some bits missing.

    I just can't seem to find a place to actually place bug reports - anyone?

    It crashed once for me (running RC2 with Mobile 2005 device) but otther than that pretty good. Took me a couple of plugs/unplugs to get it to initially work then a couple more to get it to save my password.

    I THINK it only sync's with Outlook, not Windows Contacts & Calendar.

    At least I can sync my phone again...yay!

    clefmeister, thanks for the hints.  Tried that and still can't get it to work.  I then uninstalled the Windows Mobile Device Center and Driver Update programs from the installed programs list.  I then tried the WHOS key registry update and ran wmupdate.msi.  Now I get the following:

    System.IO.FileLoadException: The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

      at Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DeviceManager.IForeman.StartFactory(Guid factory)

      at Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DeviceCenter.Program.Main()

    When I try to rerun the drvupdate-x86.msi then it appears to start installing but never finish.  I then go into Control Panel>Programs & Features and try to repair the Windows Mobile Device Center and Driver Update.  The Windows Mobile Device Center appears to repair but the driver update wont.

    Thoughts anyone about how to get it to work?
