Fine, fine. I've been getting way too much flack over this so I changed the gadget to allow you to sort on either total medals OR gold/silver/bronze (now the default).

To change the sort order, hover over the small area above the gold or totals column. A "sort by" image will appear. Click on it and the sort order will change. It also saves the sort order so it will be the same the next time the gadget loads.

@Islander - The sort order that this gadget uses is the same as the one used by NBC, Yahoo, Sports Illustrated and many others. It is sorted by total medal count.

The gadget is accurate, although the sort order my not be to your liking. I'm sorry, but I don't subscribe to "IOC Standards Monthly". magazine :)

Nice, but unfortunately in the wrong order. IOC standard says it should be ordered by most golden medals, followed by silver and bronce. Not the total.
