I agree - using a virtual maching is great. No worries, you can test and download programs that you might what to keep from your actual PC.

MS Virtual Server, 2048 MB allocated, after 2 hours of waiting for it to do anything, i reset it, the problem has yet to happen again, 2008 did not even tell me anything happened, after a reset.

Maybe this is related to the file management bug in vista, where only explorer locks up, and does not restart (very rare and random).

borisnyc, what's great about Virtual PC is that even you have bugs and crashes - its all in a virtual environment - never impacting your actual PC. This allows you to test, find those bugs, and report them to Microsoft.

Project Mayu - did it freeze in Virtual PC? If so - you might want to configure your Virtual Machine for up to 512MB of RAM if possible. This might help with performance.

who know how much other bug is still there, I didn't try it because I really do not like beta versions

It froze doing simple file management, 5mins running, its a windows server record.
