Windows Vista doesn't support CableCARD for beige-box PCs!!!!!! :-D

Arrg! Why would we talk about the destruction of the planet when this horrible injustice is foisted upon we now HD-spoiled, nerdly box builders!!!

Okay, my tone is jocular, but I'm serious about how rediculous it is. I know, I know, 'CableLabs made us.' Yeah, yeah! You're Microsoft! How about showing a little pluck. Look at Apple and the recording industry.

To sum up: The world is going to be destroyed, but, before that happens, I WANT TO HAVE HD ON MY HOME-BUILT MCPC!!!!!!!

:-P

I apologize for the problems you are experiencing since your upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium. I recommend visiting the Public Windows Vista Newsgroups and post about the issues you are having there:

http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.mspx. There are folks there from Microsoft who may be able to help with your issues.

event disguising itself as a "Save the World" promotion, instead of working on current Vista problems is a total inefficient use of time and resources.

Global warming MAY be happening, but there is NO scientific basis for the Gore/Inconvenient Truth misguided assertions. Don't believe me - run a search for "Open Kyoto to Debate" you'll see 60 accredited and accomplished scientists sign their names to a letter that echoes this.

Meantime, Windows Explorer shuts down on me randomly, I have problems with Readyboost - can't shut it off, can't use my 2GB flash drive any more and my screen goes black on a random basis for 1 1/2 to 2 seconds. All this since I upgraded to Vista Home Premium from XP.

I like my water clean please! that is, without mercury!

Those light bulb has a lot of mercury, yet it's not in complain because no one cares about our water... no... we are under the hype that having an unstable weather (like we had since earth was born, with proof that a similar climate change already occurred several time in the past [Discovery channel], and not all the poler ice melted, same now. Moreover penguins and polar bears can swim for very very long distance. Both animals has a system well optimized to very long and deep swim. They can easily travel under water down to the top Canadian island.

Industries and politicians and government are happy with it. They have a reason to tax you about on anything they want, ban certain products to help other companies (which the gov and politicians invest (like those companies that make the energy efficient bulb). Moreover, industries can, without anyone notice trow their dirty fluids in our lakes and oceans, as no one seams to care.

Now as this might seams a bit ridiculous for some, fine I got no problem with that, it good that we can have clean air. Heck we can all live and be happy in a smog free environment. But no one cares now about Trees being curring down and our water. You need water and air to live, even under water.
