Watch the Super Bowl Ads in Windows Media Center

Our friends on the eHome Team (the folks responsible for Windows Media Center and other cool things) passed along that the Super Bowl ads are available in Windows Media Center through the Internet TV Beta - currently available to U.S. Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate users.

The Super Bowl ads are listed under Top Picks in Internet TV.

I suggest checking out the Iron Man movie commercial ;-)

The above screenshots were uploaded to Windows Live Spaces using Windows Live Photo Gallery. I've set up a Windows Live Space for the Windows Experience Blog - check it out.

    Brandon:

Every Internet TV clip I select returns the message: 'The video requested is not available'. Will this issue be worked out during the beta process, or am I stuck?

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64, and I live in Minnesota. I tried it on a friend's computer running Vista Home Premium x86, and it works fine. Any ideas?

yeah the rest of the World doesn't care about the stupid Super Bowl. The European Football (soccer to you) Championship, now that would be interesting....

This "available in US only" is wrong in so many levels...

Bryan, I just tested it out on my PC running Windows Vista Ultimate x64 (great to see you also running 64-bit BTW) and I was able to play the Iron Man commercial just fine. I will send you issue on to the eHome folks and see what they say about the issue. I'll post back if I hear anything.

To my international friends: I completely understand the frustration when we provide something U.S. only. Unfortunately things like this are our of my hands. I can assure you I've relayed the feedback on to the right people and hopefully Internet TV will be available in more markets soon.

I've also experienced this problem. I used to be able to watch all the 'Internet TV' videos with no problem, but now all I get is 'The video requested is not available.' Bummer, I thought it was a good feature.

I wonder if perhaps it's due to Msoft not knowing my IP is in the States and is blocking the videos? Weird.
