Test Updates Coming for the Windows 7 RC

Starting this Tuesday (May 12th) we will release up to ten test updates to PCs running the Windows 7 RC in order to verify our ability to deliver and manage updating of Windows 7 in certain real-life scenarios. These updates do not deliver any new features or fixes. This is the second set of test updates we’ve released to test the updating mechanism for Windows 7 - the first set were released on February 24.     windows 7 team blog really a place with no hope? I cannot see any useful info here, a lot of discussions outside to talk the old chipset support and without solution. Many people have the old PC need to upgrade from XP to Windows7.

    Hi there.

    I hope the updates will sort it out my problems with (sapphire)radeon x1650 series pci-e 512mb, i can't activate my secondary display(tv).

    An issue that i can feel it is with network and some security as well, specialy dealing with anti-virus AVG Free 8.5, i don't fell safe at all. But anyway, It is normal i guess, other wise windows will stop on number 7, it will be a perfect OS, no needs to upgrade anymore...kkkk.

    Well done microsoft team.

    Windows 7 rc 64-bit it is a beautiful light OS, specialy with all this tecnology in 3D directx 1.x.

    Framework 3.5 and 4 will be other bonus as well.

    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6320 1.86GHz @  2.6GHz

    Memory (RAM) 3.00 GB

    (2x) HDs 250 GB

    Radeon X1650 Series pci-e 512 MB

    Hi,

    We have a wsus server on our network and it has been synchronising without error. I am new to windows 7 rc and would like to know  a few things .Our wsus server is registering the OS on the admin console as a Windows xp Pro is there any fix for this to display correctly/  I need to know if there is any reason why our wsus server does not fetch these test updates? I check that windows 7 is ticked under products and classifications and it has been two days now that i am not viewing any other updates whether or not a test update. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Try Panda I have used it with XP for years and the free download works with Windows 7 64 ultimate.
