Update on Windows 7 Beta Availability

Due to very heavy traffic we’re seeing as a result of interest in the Windows 7 Beta, we are adding some additional infrastructure support to the Microsoft.com properties before we post the public beta. We want to ensure customers have the best possible experience when downloading the beta, and I’ll be posting here again soon once the beta goes live. Stay tuned! We are excited that you are excited!

UPDATE: The Windows 7 Beta site is up and working and as you may have noticed, it has been up for a while now.

Why?

Logistically speaking, bit torrent would have been a life saver here.

been up since 6:30am AUS ESTD time waiting for this ...the old F5 key is abit worse for wear :P ...Any time lines?

I guess it's time for coffee while we wait :)

Look at the response! Everyone who hasn't tried it will definitely like it.

I was very impressed when I tried it, and honestly decided to buy it as soon as it came out - based only on what I saw and how fast it performed.

Of course, our Action Pack with probably have it, so I might not even have to :)

I'm from Romania and it's close to midnight here. Thank God it's Saturday tomorrow, otherwise I would have missed this.

Hope you guys have some spare servers and quick configs because millions wait for you!

Although, torrents would have helped, we just need keys :)

The Windows Team Blog has confirmed that Microsoft has indeed released a public beta of Windows 7 Beta 1.. Microsoft has posted a public beta of Windows 7 earlier this week and Microsoft has just made it available on it's TechNet channels
